I can’t stress enough that there are so many natural remedies and ways to deal with depression and other mental illnesses. At least give some of these simple ways to treat your mental illness a try before turning to prescribed medication. Throughout this website, we are going to work together in all natural ways to beat depression. You are not alone and we are in this together. Depression has affected my life negatively for years. I am still in my journey with it, but I have been getting a lot better, thanks to natural, simple remedies. The only thing I wish I had done is turned to these remedies sooner instead of doing nothing. Therefore, this site will be dedicated to everything NATURAL to combat depression.

  1. Glad, I came across this site. I had suffered a depression that last 3 years. I was over 20 years ago, but some things you do not forget. Also, it appears my daughter is falling into the same issues as I had so long ago. I have been encouraging her to do the natural thing, like some of the ones you mention here. I had no one for support and I think that was a big part of the problem. I am going to suggest you tip about not being isolated, and I am going to get her walking, for some exercise.     • Natural remedies are very important. Keep giving your support to her and make sure you don’t be pushy or hostile. Mental illnesses work in weird ways. Walking or exercising should help as it will elevate endorphins and make the mind feel more relaxed and content. Thanks for sharing your story.

  2. Very important and helpful info that will always be needed throughout everyone’s life. We all know Dr.’s subscribe medicine for anything and everything and to make money off of everybody, so, that is one reason to try natural supplements, as well as, save money at the same time. With natural supplements we don’t have to worry about all the side effects or if it will work or not. No allergies and no interruptions with other meds.

    • I agree with you. Sometimes natural supplements are the best way to go. I urge people with mental illnesses such as depression to give natural remedies/supplements a go before turning to prescribed meds.
